I always found those APUs ridiculous. Not only their general design is strange (instead of solid construction, there is a lot of small elements, which make the whole look fragile), but despite being called "armoured" (even in our version of translation, they are referred to merely as "opancerzeni" - "the armoured ones"), they offer absolutely no protection to the pilot. Even a guy with a knife would kill one of those .
