I have been away for a while doing something different for a change, like i mention some months ago i'm currently taking up Gunpla (gundam plastic model) and here is one of my finished Gundam i build.
This Gundam was actually a birthday present from my office colleagues, and it took me around 2 weeks to get it build, modified and painted, as for the finishing it was a lot of improvement since last time, i'm still training to keep my hands steady when working on models. i still have a lot to learn on modeling and i'm still wondering should i get an airbrush.
This Gundam is called Perfect Gundam, it was based on a manga "Plamo Kyoshiro" dated back in the 80ths about schoolkids compete with self-build Mobile Suit Variations in a virtual-reality simulation. And it was this very Gundam that sparks my interest in models and Gundams at the age of 10 and after 20 years later, Bandai reissue this perfect Gundam Master grade version in 2003, and their homage was for those early Gundam fans like me from the 80ths. To me this Gundam was childhood memory that reminds me how much i enjoyed building gunpla 20 years ago.
That is absolutely awesome! So, you glue your models together? All of my gundam models have been snap together, an I can say I never thought about gluing the model together...
I can see you didn't forget your old hobbies ;3 See? not everything can be work and only work
And it looks really good. ^^ When I model like this, I also like to add some dust, and make some pieces look "broken" or "too used", it helps me to make them look real :3 Have you done it too in the past?
Very sweet job!
(everyone get all the kool Gundams!) *pouts*
