i really would like to custom build it but the amount of spare parts require was too much, tripple shield and gatling gun, 2 bazooka, i don't mind scratch building the missile ports, i too wanted the gatling gun but in the end i scratch build a pair of beam cannon using my old art-line pen. and it was one of my most favorite part of my gundam unicorn
well i have been building model since 10 years old, i stop for quite a number of years since 2000 only last year i re pick up gunplas again only this time more serious, i'm currently planning to enter atleast one Gunpla model competition for 2010, my weapon of choice is a 144 scale unicorn.
nice! yeah, i only built model planes and stuff as a kid (10-13 years old) and i restarted with gunpla when i was 22 then a hiatus until 23-24.
i wish you the best of luck with the competition. i missed the deadline to a competition here because i really wanted to enter my sinanju and it hadn't come in the mail yet so i could only enter a single model in a local hobby store competition one.
thanks, i will be going down to town to see this year's entry, and in the mean time i also want to get a copy of the dengki hobby magazine with the unicorn head display stand, it will be use for my 144 scale unicorn entry for next year.
This is just for the first volley, to soften them up. Sans missiles, it can maneuver in and let loose with the rest of the cannons and bazookas, till they too are depleted and ditched. Perfect suit for supporting a Blitzkrieg or starting one of your own.
Standard military reply. That is when you have a military/armed forces to call/fall upon for support. If your more of a single suit, single ship, and singled out type operation then making more units(that are even effective, let alone able) is less and more firepower is less strenuous a tax on a budget(if you even have one). Plus as with any Standard, its a standard and known to many "in the know" thus countered and expected. Blow in there with this baby and they'll waste a good division or amount of time looking for that phantom support position that fired on their base. Surprise is like a WMD at times, though like most weapons of that sort their only if rarely used(to good effect) and when then usually then everybody knows and its over.
Good Point though: A few old GM's/Zakus popping up to fight if not be a surprise, works too.
Indirect fire is especially nasty if you have multiple rounds achieving simultaneous impact or MRSI like in the Crusader [link] and now the Objective Force Cannon or Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) cannon. It makes the Idiom "It never rains but it pours" ring quite true, only with high explosive, armor piercing shells.
