MG strike Gundam IWSP by alphaleo14 MG strike Gundam IWSP by alphaleo14
Finally finished, the build was pretty much different compare to my unicorn Gundam, as for my strike i was aiming to do a 60 scale perfect grade style, not a 100% but try my best to mimic the kind of details that the perfect grade gundam have. In a way also practicing my Gunpla skills. overall i'm happy how it turn out especially the much more dull type of color i'm trying out, looks good with brown outlining instead of the common black outline.

how do you figure out what sprays to get/use for your gundam (this one in particular)?

i wen to the hardware shop and find the colors available, i roughly follow the color style like the gundam fix figuration type of color, dull and panel line with brown lines

How long did this take you? You did VERY well, I think. I just started painting and I hate how long and hard it is. Anyways, I really envy your skills and determination. Can you also tell me what materials you used, including the paint colors and brand, along with what you did where?

tell me, do you paint your kits or just outline them? as i don't have an airbrush yet, i might soon though, i fancy the factory color they have and just add panel lines to it + decals/markings/dry transfers. it looks pretty good for an amateur build i think.

oh, and that comes with the grand slam right? i wish the MG rogue strike came with it since the only way i'd get one with the rogue strike is getting the PG! 0_0

here is my work in progress of turning a MG to PG finishing
A lot of cutting, gluing, slicing, pla-plate, puttying, sand papering and patient, took me a month plus to get it done.

the funny thing is i use normal hardware store spray, the model kit spray are way too expensive and very little. but i do have way of making the spray paint non glossy by spraying a coat of MR top coat 'flat' and the finishing is like fix figuration. my modeling style are gundam fix figuration style

i dislike using the gundam marker as they r too dark and thick and after spray paint it kinda blend into the paint, i prefer 'gundam real touch marker' for outlining, they are more watery and easy to rub off.

only MG strike iwsp comes with grand slam, i'm not really in favor of the grand slam.
